Ford TSB #TSB 21-2205
2021 Ford F-150
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- Some 2021 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 5.0L engine, built on or before 23-Apr-2021, and having charging system diagnostics performed in the Workshop Manual (WSM) may experience the generator voltage desired (GENVDSD) parameter identification (PID) missing from the powertrain control module (PCM) PID list in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). This may be due to a software parameter in the PCM. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the PCM.
