2021 Ford F-150
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE
- Summary
- Some 2021 F-150 vehicles may experience a Programmable Module Installation (PMI) failure of the ABS module and/or PSCM with the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). An ABS module PMI failure message states: Procedure Unsuccessful - Get Flash Action Part Numbers Unable To Obtain Flash Action Part Numbers. A PSCM PMI failure message states: Procedure Unsuccessful - Check For Null Part Number Part Number Is Null For: SBL. This may be due to a software issue with the FDRS and is currently under investigation. As a temporary solution, connect a battery charger to the 12v battery and perform software updates to all other available modules. When these software updates are complete, continue with PMI of the ABS module and/or PSCM.
