3.3L V6 F-150 started to heavily vibrate when vehicle was started. Check engine light came on. Check engine code was cylinder 1 misfire. Coils and injectors were changed. It didn't fix the problem. Upon further investigation there was damage to piston. Full Engine replacement is required.

Dealership replaced ecu and some switches to power bank and wiring harness behind headlight. Vehicle was returned 1 week later Drove it 2 days later for 10 miles same thing happened, Ford towed it to another dealership where they cleared codes, and they said they can't replicate, Vehicle was returned after a week. 2 days later I drove yo work and again iy happened stopped in middle of road blocking traffic. Was towed by Ford to dealership where they found over 20 codes, said they can't fix. Ford and selling dealer towed to selling dealer, where they cleared codes and said they can't replicate. I refused yo take Vehicle on fear of getting in severe crash when Vehicle stalls and dies in heavy traffic again. I signed title and sent it to selling dealer, they told me that fordwill not let them buy it back. Do I don't have my money or a truck now
I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection in an Atlanta suburb. I was several cars back from the red light. I saw the light turn green so I took my foot off of the brakes to engage auto start and barely tapped the gas and the truck dinged and showed me an error on the screen. I was so mortified and my heart started racing that I could barely read the error, all I remember seeing was "Shift to P." However, I tried to shift to Park and the shifter wouldn't do anything! I was desperately trying to engage the brake and shift to Park or Neutral and it wouldn't budge. I kept trying back and forth back and forth trying anything to get it to shift. It finally shifted to Park. I turned truck off. Opened the door, closed the door, and restarted engine and it had a slight hesitation but then let me shift down to Drive and proceed. Luckily, I had enough time to fix it before I started getting cussed out or honked at and possibly shot for having this happen on a busy intersection. My heart was beating so fast. So scary. I got home and connected my OBD scanner and no error codes were found. Sunny day, about 65 degrees, and truck had drive 55 miles to my Mom's a few hours before. This was on my way back to my house in Atlanta from my Mom's house an hour outside of Atlanta. I had no time to take a picture of the error on the screen because I was scared to death trying to get my truck to shift and drive. There was no reason for this error as I did not do anything differently. The auto start/stop engaged on its own when I come to a stop and then starts itself when I begin to depress the gas. Very concerning and I don't panic at all, but in this case...I sure did.
The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving over a speed bump at approximately 15 MPH, there was a loud grinding sound coming from the vehicle before the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle and the vehicle was later towed to the local dealer. While at the local dealer, the mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the engine had seized and needed to be replaced. The mechanic stated that parts of the piston and valve spring retainer were found inside the oil pan. The engine was replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,966.

I have notice on my truck as im driving and I engage the gas pedeal the engine doent repond. it takes a while for the pedal to kick in. this happens at random times as I drive but the hestiation is there.
Catastrophic engine failure that left vehicle disabled on Highway. Neither I or recovery technician was able to put into neutral after. Truck was powered on it was not possible to move the shifting lever from Park after it was engaged.
This is the 4th time since purchasing the truck that this event has happened with time having the most severe results. When shifting from reverse to park the shifter goes into park and jumps back into reverse. First event (after exiting the truck) the truck rolled into a shipping dock breaking a taillight and buckling the rear bumper. Next two I had one foot on running board and one foot in the truck ant was able to hit the brake stopping the truck. This fourth event one foot was on the running board and one on the ground. As truck went back the door flattened me to the ground and the front tires rolled over both of my legs. The truck rolled up an inclined parking lot, across a busy road and down a bank. I was driven by ambulance to the hospital and then transferred and airlifted to trauma center at Ruby Memorial Hospital. After the second event the local Ford dealer said they could not duplicate the event. The brakes do not hold even though they are depressed and set when the shifter is shifted.
Started with check engine light for cylinder 5 misfire and engine was running rough with loss of power. Took the truck to dealer and dealer reports compression loss as reason for engine failure. After doing some research there appears to be a major issue with the same engine (2.7 ecoboost) of the same year(2021) reported for the Bronco and F150 for catastrophic engine failure. I suspect this is the same engine failure that my truck experienced.
Lower coolant hose is rubbing on a wire loom which caused wear on the coolant hose causing a leak. We experienced loss of coolant and temperature fluctuating, no overheating because employee reported fluctuating. Vehicle was taken to Sames Ford Motor Company and warranty was honored.
This problem has been ongoing, happening nonstop up to multiple times daily since Feb of 2022 and has spent now 70 days at the dealership in search of the issue. Luckily, the vehicle has not caused an incident yet, but I am afraid to drive it if I get it back from the dealer again as the issue has just gotten worse. The vehicle randomly while driving goes into a "limp mode" in which 1 of 2 things happens. 1) If unable to pull over immediately, the vehicle has very erratic throttle control and 2) the vehicle sometimes gives a warning about the "adavancetrack" system and will sometimes shift itself into neutral out of nowhere forcing you to coast to a stop no matter where or what type of street you are on. In researching this problem to help my dealer at first and now to try and protect myself while in a battle with ford, it seems to be a common problem discussed on many forums on the internet and facebook and seems quite common among the F-150 powerboost. Ford is refusing me a buyback at this time and ignoring the safety implications that my vehicle is having
For months have been having two issues with my 2021 F150 Powerboost with the CO2 sensors as well as an issue with the Exhaust Heat Exchanger Bypass Valve A. Which after my bumper to bumper warranty expired now needs replaced even though the same issues have been throwing a CEL for months
Driving down the freeway, horn started blaring and power completely went out in car -engine steering etc The dealership is replacing the computer in the vehicle

I bought the vehicle new. The first time I took it to get an oil change, the mechanic came out to show me that the bell housing bolts were falling out. We tightened them up. I was having issues with the smell of breaks burning so I took it to a ford dealership but told them to check the bolts as well. I told them it would shake some when approaching 80 mph. They didn't find anything wrong. And nothing was said about the shaking. At 51k miles, my family was on vacation. My nephew noticed the front passenger wheel was about to blow out when we had stopped. Putting on the spare I started recording the change because the lug nuts were extremely loose. The tires have never been rotated or changed these issues were from the factory. I reached out to Ford, they told me to take it back to a shop which I have scheduled. It's pointless, this truck is a death trap and Ford doesn't seem to care at all about the level of safety this was for me and my family.
My vehicle has the 3.5L powerboost motor and it has been leaking coolant from the egr cooler since I bought the truck in 01/2022. This has caused my vehicle to overheat and has left me stranded on busy highways.
At 1200 miles the engine shook while driving and a puff of white smoke came out the tailpipe. The dealership claimed it was a faulty sparkplug. 150 miles later the low oil pressure light came on while driving at 75mph. After the local dealership offering nothing to resolve the problem over many weeks, another dealership found oil was passing through the heads.
My truck is 2021 f150 powerboot. I got message -?? stop safely now-?? and unable to start the engine. This is happened twice. The first time is about 20K miles, the second times is happened on 8/13/2022 at 55k miles. I brought my car to dealership for first time and service manager told me they waited on ford company for instruction. But no one call me for recall or advice. Please help us. Thank you
