The contact stated that after all four tires were replaced, the following day while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear driver-??s and passenger-??s side tires seized without warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear axle half-shaft had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact referenced Customer Satisfaction Program: 22B34. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was provided a case number and advised to call the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 9,028.
