The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked on several occasions, the front passenger-??s side door failed to open as intended. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the door latch actuator had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,560.
On 1/23/22, my passenger front door latch became frozen and will not open. I understand that this problem has been reported on similar vehicles, but the "fix" if installed does not solve the problem. The current outside temperature is 4 degrees Fahrenheit. All the remaining doors are functioning as they should, but my concern is that it will repeat or worse, not close/latch properly.
