Truck loaded (nothing heavy and not towing). Driving over a mountain pass at the California/Oregon border and transmission starts slipping (high revving and not engaging) really bad. AGAIN! Pull over and look underneath and transmission fluid is spewing all over. Called Ford roadside assistance and I was able to get a tow to the dealer from there. But the service department is closed on Saturday.
I had to leave my truck with them and rent a car to drive the last 5 hours home. That will be a nice 10 hour trip to go pick up my truck. Now I also have to request reimbursement for the rental from Ford. That should be nice and easy. Anyone want to buy a truck?
