I took the vehicle to Mechanic and they advised the engine light was consistent with the timing chain failure. I called a local local Ford dealer. This vehicle's transmission has been discussed over the last few years referencing its "harsh shifting" and seems to not work correctly. Specifically in gears 2-5, the vehicle fails to shift properly which then doesnt allow the vehicle to move appropriately. We have incidents where the vehicle will shut off suddenly asking for us to turn off and turn on the vehicle. Our safety is in harms way each time the vehicle fails to shift properly and Ford fails to remedy the transmission (10R80)
