While driving vehicle displays "Service Advance Trac", "Pre collision assist not available", "hill assist not available" and the drive mode will not work. Brake lights are also on all the time as well. Dealership says the vehicles steering column needs to be replaced only 2 months after purchase. Dealer has diagnosed the issue but did not provide codes.

Our brand new 2019 Ford F150 was having shifting problems. Very rough shift from 5 to 6th etc. Clunky. Called dealer. Was told it would "even out" driving from tx to ga it only got worse. Dealership in ga says it was shipped low of transmission fluid. It is a closed system, so they said it had to be shipped from the factory low. We drove 5500 miles with a transmission that was 2 qts low and got no errors, lights or notifications. We picked up the truck on Oct 10, 2020. It still felt very clunky, so we tried in November and early December to have it looked at again. They could not get a loaner etc. It was not serviced a second time at this point. On Dec 24th around, we were driving down I 20 going roughly 70mph. Thankfully, my husband was driving. The truck began to feel rougher on shifting ( it is an automatic) suddenly, the truck lunges like we pulled the emergency brake and it shifted from 10th gear to first, he knew to put into neutral and get off the highway. We immediately pulled to the nearest exit and drove home about 4 miles very slowly. Because it would jerk very hard if it got to 5th gear and tried to go to 6. after several days due to the holiday, the truck was towed to Ford who now say it is too full on transmission fluid and they cannot duplicate the problem. We would have crashed if I were driving. The sudden stop and sudden gear change only magnified the problems we were having already with the truck. There are numerous reports of similar issues across the country. Ford needs to do a recall before someone dies.

This happened twice today 10/24/2020. First time I was stopped at a turning light on a main road and as soon as I let off the break the engine shutoff. Second time I was in a residential neighborhood making a turn and the engine shutoff once again displaying the image attached.

When driving straight with both hands on the wheel and above about 40 mph, a message and alarm go off that says "keep your hands on the steering wheel". this occurs on just about every straight away and becomes very annoying. It also distracts me when I should be paying attention to the road. I've had it in to the dealer three times for this and on the last visit they called Ford technical support. They said they are aware of this issue but that they weren't doing anything about it. I feel its a safety issue since it distracts the driver needlessly.

High amplitude vibration at various speeds. Most noticeable between 50 and 70mph. I complained about it to the dealership and they determined the ring and pinion gears needed replacing at 4200 miles. Vibration persisted, so I took it back and they tried roadforce balancing the wheels/tires and checking for runout. This did not fix the problem either. Then they tried replacing wheels and tires all together, still with no success.

I just bought my truck and have honked my horn two times. Both times the perforated seal for the airbag has split open. I got it repaired the first time and now I have an appointment to get it repaired a second time. This is a defect, you should be able to apply pressure to honk a horn. Especially if someone pulls out in front of you and you have to abruptly apply the brakes at the same time as honking. This creates a forward force that makes you press harder as well. This is a safety issue as well, as I'm not sure about the airbag now, if it will work at all, or if it will deploy for no reason and injure me. Both times I was driving, but only the first time did I have to hit the brakes hard, the second time was a normal honk with light to medium pressure.

Occasionally the steering wants to force the car into oncoming traffic (to the left) while in motion. This happens after the vehicle has random system faults showing all systems offline: Cruise control, anti-collsion, blind spot monitoring, advancetrac... consumer stated additional info, these alerts were sent to my fordpass account. Now the dealer cannot find any indication that the truck had issues. But their own vehicle sent me notices.
