The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, he heard an abnormal sound and observed smoke coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle then inadvertently lost motive power. After a visual inspection, the contact observed that the high-pressure fuel line was disconnected. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the high-pressure fuel pump. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA Campaign Number 18V392000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 95,400.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated while accelerating from a complete stop to 35 MPH, the vehicle hesitated and jolted while shifting into gear. Additionally, the contact stated that while at a complete stop and depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle revved. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel was contaminated and a gasoline additive was added; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000. The contact stated that when the transmission issues started, the local dealer informed the contact that they were short staffed and could not provide a loaner vehicle. After taking the vehicle to a second dealer, it was found that the transmission needed to be replaced.
