Ford TSB #TSB 19-2358
2018 Ford F-150
TSB Document:
Affected Component: POWER TRAIN
- Summary
- Some 2018-2019 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 5.0L engine built on or before 12-Feb-2019 may exhibit a metallic grinding/rattling sound coming from the transmission bellhousing area under various operating conditions. This may be due to the torque converter studs contacting the engine to transmission spacer plate. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to replace the engine to transmission spacer plate with a new engine to transmission spacer plate that includes a bend for additional clearance.
