- Summary
- Some 2018 F150, Navigator and Expedition vehicles equipped with 3.5L EcoBoost engine may experience malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illumination with Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) DTC P0365 and/or P0369. This may be due to low engine oil level, low engine oil pressure or damaged variable camshaft timing (VCT) phasers. Before performing Powertrain Control and Emissions Diagnostics (PC/ED) Manual diagnostics, inspect the engine oil level and evaluate any abnormal VCT noise conditions. If engine oil level is correct, and no unusual engine noises are present, proceed with normal PC/ED diagnostics test PPT 'DR'.
