After driving for 45 minutes, was parking and heard a noise. Turns out my brand New F150 XLT Sport 4x4 with less then 4,000 miles, owned less then a yr., overheated for no reason. No engine light , NO WARNINGS! No computer read out! The water gauge did not show it was HOT. No lights, no buzzers, Nada, Nothing!
Towed to dealer. They know there is a problem, can not get it to overheat, did all testing, not the water pump, not the fan - is working, filled the system with anti freeze back up, been driving it trying to get it to overheat.. Sent bulletin to Ford Manufacturing, the answer they got was make it happen & fix it.. So basically they have to brake it to fix it. That doesn't even sit right with me..They did give me a brand new loaner(Escape), Still making payments. ARGGGGGGG
I asked what if it doesn't happen in a month, they said they'll contact Ford see what they want to do. I don't blame the dealer, its the computer system.
