I had a 2016 with the same issue. I brought it back at least 5 times and finally traded it in for a 2018. I was told by the dealer the problem was resolved, but obviously he lied.

Third time I used the doors in the cold - problems each time. This time I was to go on a K9 search. Did not make the search could not ensure dog, search clothes, dog leash, dog bowl would stay in the truck for the 1 1/2 hours it would take to get to the search site. Note a fun thing to discover when you are trying to help people at 05:45 in the morning.

Doors won't latch closed (if you can get them open) Below freezing temperatures NY doors will not unlock electronically. If I can get in the doors won't latch. I hold them closed with a ratchet strap. Now I understand the heated seats, need them when every time you turn a corner a door or two will fly open.
