TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER
- Summary
- Some 2015-2018 F-150 and 2017-2018 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a lack of cooling from the heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) system due to a low refrigerant charge. Using an ultraviolet (UV) leak detection light, inspect the condenser near the receiver/dryer cap for the presence of dye. If dye is present, replace the condenser. For claiming, use causal part 19712 and applicable labor operations in Section 11 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual
