I have repeatedly brought my F150 in for transmission service. I have been experiencing the exact same problems referred to in the lawsuit against Ford for the ten-speed transmission about hard shifting and slamming into gear and fear that something is going to break! I have brought it in 4 times for the same problem. One time Ford had my truck for two weeks and didn't even touch it until I raised some hell then only received what apparently was just a patch-up because I am scheduled once again to bring the truck back in for the fifth time to rear the transmission.
How many times should I have to bring the truck in for the same repair? Each time I have to pay my deductible to repair the same problem. If Ford is aware of this problem then why won't they fix it permanently and what happens when my extended Ford warranty becomes expired??? The dealership charged me $5000 over the sticker price for this truck bringing my cost to $75,000 bucks. So not only have a paid too much for the truck but it has become faulty. I would very much like to become part of this lawsuit to Ford as a collaborating whiteness and victim.
