The door handle is easily jimmied resulting in a property theft. The repair was minor covered by insurance BUT the loss of property was substantial. Further, the vehicle is out of service for 3 days. Your vehicle is not secure from entry and theft.
FORD offers no solution. The aluminum body will not readily accept an anti theft patch.
Update from Oct 30, 2019: My insurance deductible did not cover the cost of handle replacement and paint repairs. Also, stolen items have a policy limit of $250.
The point is that this is a costly nuisance that FORD knows how to fix!
