The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. When the temperature was 32 degrees, all the doors failed to remain closed and would open while driving. The message "transmission not drive" appeared on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to koerner Ford of syracuse (805 w genesee St, syracuse, NY 13204, (315) 474-4275) where it was diagnosed that the door hinge mechanism failed when the temperature fell below 32 degrees. The hinge mechanism needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and did not assist. The approximate failure mileage was 15,300. The VIN was not available.
