The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, the vehicle began shaking. Additionally, the contact stated that the check engine warning light illuminated several times during the failure but did not remain illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the torque converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
