At hardly 2.5 yrs off lot and only 30,000 mi, what other POS parts are in this thing. After several years of nursing along 20-25 yr old German cars and spending lots of time in tow trucks, I decide to buy America's most dependable vehicle. Only to find myself stranded and back in the tow truck.
Now I see there are complete brake failures going on with this model and surrounding years. Oh yeah. I also bought this as one of the safest vehicles out there on the market. I guess that is when you can stop it.
I drive in Alabama high speed highway traffic akin to a NASCAR freight train. Braking failure is not an option.
Fuel pump failure was PITA and really discouraging. Possible brake failure is terrifying and may lead to replacing this "fantastic looking" truck.
