The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while depressing the brake pedal, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed with a fractured passenger-??s side brake line. The contact was informed that the brake line needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, a year later the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the driver-??s and passenger-??s side brake lines were fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 122,000.
