Windshield wipers freeze up, winter wiper fluid even freezes. I've had about 8 instances of freezing fluid of around 20 degrees or less. This is a significant safety hazard. The hose replacement/check valve does not fix the issue. I spray the fluid while driving during which time it freezes up upon any further uses. In snow/slush salt covered roads it blurs the windshield and ices over in which visibility diminishes and is a significant hazard on the highway regardless of the heat/defroster running full blast. I've had a couple instances where my whole reservoir of wiper fluid with winter mix even freezes.
I cannot figure out what is different from my older vehicles, even my rangers never had such issues. I've tried two types of fluids designed for below zero weather. I think my only solution is to add heater to reservoir or defroster. What makes this worse is my other vehicles are outside while my truck is in the garage having freezing issues, garage is not heated but shielded from weather extremes.
