My F-150 has had 2 turbos in 1 year go bad on it, causing me to not be able to accelerate at highway speeds. Losing gas mileage and coolant also. My tire sensor has also gone bad on the truck and caused me to over inflate it.

I was driving on 680 and without warning my front driver side tire fell off. It felt like a flat tire and as I was pulling over the tire went flying. New truck under warranty 500$ monthly payments, this should not happen. I drove truck from wi to ca. Had Ford inspect the vehicle, they knew it was not safe said it was and let me drive it away 2600 miles later tire problem happens. I took it back to Ford for repair, they replaced all lug nuts from closed cap to open face, I asked about lug nut class action lawsuit ant they had no comment.

All lug nuts are swelling- hard to get off. Tech told me it will get to point I will have to have them all replaced and if I were to get a flat tire there is no way I would be able to get any of them off at this point.

Attempting to change a flat on the side of the highway, I was unable to get the lug nuts off because the Ford standard wrench supplied with the jack kit is too small and wouldn't fit onto the nuts even when trying to force it on by banging on it with a rock. I was left stranded on the side of the highway for a couple of hours waiting for aaa to bring the correct sized socket. The aaa service man said that he had to use a 7/8 socket. This situation put me in unnecessary danger and is a major inconvenience. I called Ford customer service and they said there is no open recall and that I would need to have a Ford dealership look at the issue. They also said I would most likely have to pay for a correctly sized lug nut wrench.

Lug nuts on truck get swollen and the dealer could not get the lug nuts off of the truck. I had to buy twelve new lug nuts at my cost. They replaced with the same lug nuts. If you break down and the lug nuts are swollen you can not get your tire off to change it. This is a safety problem that needs to be fixed, Ford will not pay for the replacement of the part.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. While the vehicle was undergoing an oil change and tire rotation at bob maxey Ford of howell (2798 E grand river ave, howell, mi), the technician was unable to rotate the tires due to the swollen lug nuts. The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 44,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. While driving approximately 50 mph, either one of the wheels or the steering wheel seized. The contact stated that the failure occurred so fast that he did not know the particular wheel that locked, stating that it could have been the steering wheel. The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an aluminum barrier. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

Sadly, we feel we have purchased a lemon occasionally engine or transmission squeals/grinds, if accelerate too quickly/power up.,and now, on cold days [temps low 40S & under] hear rubbing/grinding whirring at left front tire" gets louder when depress brake, and can feel in brake pedal. Sound occurs during slow forward speed 2-40 mph, on gravel driveway or paved road. Scheduled service today for noise; they were more interested in fixing recall item [locks - rpr time 3+hrs], if they had parts in stock. Recall srvc completed [under 1 hr], and "no noise was heard." I requested further look for cause of noise, service advisor said quick lane would check suspension?. 2 hrs later, nothing seen, nothing heard, nothing repaired. As I pulled away from dealership, having signed off on service, the truck immediately began making the noise [funny serv advsr didn't hear when he brought truck around?]. I drove less than 1/10 mile back to dealership, took the service advisor for ride; at which point he acknowledged he heard noise, but tried to assure me it's a 'tire issue.' My husband and I believe otherwise - this is not tire noise, the noise never crescendos or changes pitch with increase or decrease speed, on gravel or asphalt, and we have never felt 'tire noise' in brake pedal. This noise/friction merely ceases after you've driven a few minutes [for now]. service advisor assured me I was not doing any further damage to truck, continuing to drive it without resolution to the problem. I asked him if I needed new tires, he said indeed not, mine are in great shape [original tires] with 63,000 miles on them [but it's a tire issue"]. something's up [similar concerns have been raised in forums on the internet- along with dealer dismissal/failure to resolve. We want our truck repaired [resolution of these mechanical failures] while it's under warranty, or we want a new vehicle.

2015 Ford F-150 wheels get stuck on the hubs very quickly and easily. With both the aluminum summer rims and steel winter rims. The removal of the wheels take excessive force to complete, much more than what the vehicle's included jack can handle on roadside. Can be very dangerous and very costly when changing a flat tire.

This is a know issue that Ford has fail to resolve.. chrome plated lugs nuts are becoming swollen and the issued lug wrench will not work on the lugs.. the local service depart stated the Ford refused to correct the problem.. if the vehicle if out of warranty, the consumer will be forced to have the vehicle towed until the right size lug wrench can be fitted.. this is a safety issue and a unwarranted unknown cost to consumers due to a known defect.. just a random search of the internet for swollen lug nuts and you will see all the complaints.. can you image somebody with a new vehicle on the side of the road attempting to change a tire and the issued lug wrench will not work.. my lugs were replace by the dealer on Jan 31st, 2016 here is an online Ford forum. www.F150forum.com/F118/swollen-lug-nuts-365302/ again, this has been a issue for many years and I am sure numerous consumers had been confronted with this.. a simple online research will show thousands of complaints.. the funny part, they put they same lug nuts back on my vehicle after the repair.
