Purchased vehicle brand new 12-9-2016. Paint peeled on roof near top of windshield 12-18-2017. Repainted at Ford Dealer under warranty.Paint peeled again same general area on 12-03-2018.Repainted at Ford Dealer under Warranty. Four months later 3-11-2019 paint peeled again same area.I started inquiring what is Ford going to do to fix the problem because spot painting it obviously isn't working. Started asking if they were just going to keep painting until warranty runs out or do something to actually fix the problem.Never could get a straight answer. Some dealership employees were saying paint warranty is only 3 years. Dealer body shop manager assured me paint was 5 yrs on the new aluminum body trucks he even suggested it was because Ford must of known their might be issues with the aluminum body.Truck was repainted for the 3rd time still under warranty.Paint peeling for the 4th time 4-1-2020 took back to the Dealer. Dealer states Ford refuses to honor claim the 3 year 36000 miles warranty is up.My bitch is this has been a ongoing issue from the first time it was turned in 12 months after purchase and the problem has never been resolved. Ford wants to act as if I am the only complaint pertaining to this issue after researching this is a major screw up on their part. Ford wants to claim Quality Job 1. That's a crock I was a die hard Ford truck man not anymore.
