While traveling on Interstate 20 at approximately 77 mph with adaptive cruise engaged, the collision alert system went into full deployment (windshield alert lights, audible warning, control panel warning, and full braking) twice while attempting to pass a flatbed truck. For no apparent reason the adaptive cruise "senses" a pending emergency when none existed and went into full avoidance reducing vehicle speed by approximately 15 miles per hour in a mater of a couple of seconds. The vehicle will return to normal operations once the truck has been passed with no additional action from the driver. This is the latest occurrence of this problem. My truck has been in the dealership for repair of this issue (including the factory recall) for a total of 33 days. The dealer is willing to work on it again but admits all they know to do is what they have already done three times. I am out of patience and will not release the truck to the dealer again until they have an alternative solution.
