I first noticed the air flow control on first cold day this year. The heat would only come out the dash vents. I took it to a Ford technician, however after 10 days, he could not figure out the root cause of the problem. He was baffled by what I think is an intermittent fault. He said he reached out to Ford engineers, to no avail. It is not the mode control panel.
Every once in a while, it works as it should. Just thankful I am in Texas where winters are mild.
