On November 10th 2014 I went to Green Valley Ford Dealership for my first Oil Change...after I left dealership I was driving on a busy street when the truck suddenly lost oil pressure as the truck had died as I was driving, although I was able to coast to the side of the road I was unable to start to truck for approx. 10 minutes.
Shortly after I was able to get the truck to another Ford Dealer on the East Side of Town. The service manager was able to get my truck in before they closed for the day and were able to clean out the air filter compartment and reset the truck. The Service Tech explained to me that they have had some cases where the air filter was removed during an oil change and partials have fallen into the sensor system which controls the air to fuel ratio which can make the vehicle run rich and even stall the vehicle…The Tech also stated that the car manufacturers are using smaller sensors these days which can clog much easier. This can cause damage and even death if it happened at the wrong time and place!
