The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated while starting the vehicle, there was a loud rattling sound coming from the engine compartment. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The vehicle was able to be restarted; however, the failure recurred. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHSTA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 102,000.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to veer to the shoulder. Following the failure, the Low Oil Pressure, check engine warning, and maintenance required warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the fuse box needed to be relocated due to overheating and causing a short in the fuel pump injector. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to reach out to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 51,000.

The contact stated the 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact pulled over to the shoulder of the road to inspect the vehicle and found that coolant was leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the coolant was leaking from the turbo and advised the vehicle to be taken to a local dealer for repair. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the cylinder head, exhaust manifolds, and vacuum pump gasket needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
