The truck is randomly down shifting. It will go from 6th to 3rd or 4tg or 5th, 5th to 3rd or 4th, and I've even had it downshift to 2nd. I found several threads talking about this being an issue and to report because there is a service bulletin about it because of the OSS being in issue and no recall yet.

Two issues. The first issue arose due to a leak in the "y" pipe under the air box. Upon replacing that connector, the throttle body had to be removed to get room to reinstall. Upon reinstallation of the throttle body, the truck falls into limp mode unexpectedly during normal driving, in traffic. Installed ned throttle body from parts store and still throws the p2112 code.

My vehicle shows a wrench on the dashboard and loses power and will not accelerate. We took it to an auto parts store to have a diagnostic test performed and it shows that the OSS ( Output Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit) fault. In my 2014, this is inside the transmission. After doing research, I found this was recalled in 2009 to 2013 models. Could this be an issue in my 2014?
My truck stalled and died while entering an intersection. I was nearly broadsided by another vehicle. We both could have been KILLED. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Ford is well aware issue and has issued a TSB about it to their dealers. It is called a FUSE 27 in the Ford f150-??s and it causes IMMEDIATE LOSS of power and potentially control. The power steering and brakes are effected. Someone is or more likely has been killed because of this. Please do your job. Events like this that are KNOWN by the manufacture should be IMMEDIATELY addressed.
Spontaneous downshifting of transmission to first gear has occurred more than once resulting in sudden change in speed, tires screeching, and unsafe driving or difficulty controlling automobile. Fortunately no one was behind me as I would likely have been rear ended. Each time this has happened the motor has been subjected to heavy strain.
vehicle had 65,732 when the timing chain and both turbo chargers seized costing $8,770.46. Complaining because we feel ford is at fault for this failure. engine has hardly any miles. Other Ford vehicles with many more miles had this recall but ford says mine was not covered. then under 2,000 miles later the power steering went costing $3,130.96 which was also another recall on other ford vehicles same model, same year but Ford says not mine.

The manufacturer informed the contact that a fuse box relocation kit was needed to resolve the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was concerned that the manufacturer was aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 230,000.
Vehicle will go into limp mode as if the throttle body is not working properly. I have to coast to the side of the road, turn off engine and let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes before restarting.
The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle went into Limp Mode with the check engine warning light illuminated. This has happened twice now. Driving to work accelerating after a red light and the truck losses all power, but stays running. To get it to operate normal you have to pull over shift into park, turn the truck off and wait a couple of moments. The truck will retire and drive like nothing happened. Trick has 78k miles and always maintained at local ford dealer
