Purchased a 2014 F150 with 45,500.00 miles. Two years ago from the dealer. I noticed that the brakes wobbled when stopping or braking. Dealer indicated that nothing was wrong. It has been serviced for two years at the dealership and they indicated that there no problems with the brakes. They said that brakes were normal. However I took it to an independent shop to replace the tires at 64,000 miles and they indicated that my rotors were warped. It was obvious comparing the new rotors with the older rotors. They indicated that this didn't just happen. They replaced the brakes, rotors (all four) and put on my new tires. The vehicle now has not wobbles and rides much better. There is now now wobbling when braking or stopping.

Paid $3600 for Premium Service which according to Fletcher Ford in MO, Premium service was never done however, the rotors have been turned for no apparent reason. They tried to say that I rode the brakes too hard and if that was the case, why did my previous Ford truck never had the rotors changed? I don't ride the brakes too hard and the brakes that I have now are 70% good and Glenn Ford in Kentucky changed and serviced the brakes at 63,000 so it's not that the brakes wore down. The rotors according to Fletcher Ford have been ground down so bad that they are warped and need to be replaced. Why were the rotors ever ground down in the first place? According to the Ford complaint office, my records show that the rotors have never been turned. That makes since if they were dishonestly ground down so that I would have to pay for new rotors. My truck only has 116,000 miles on it and I kept my old Ford truck for over 400,000 miles without ever changing the rotors. The Ford complaint office contradicted Fletcher Ford service center on two accounts. There is something dishonest going on here it seems to me so I will not be servicing my Ford truck ever again at Ford even though I have to keep paying for the service contract in my monthly payments! I will now go to a reputable mechanic and I will take my Ford truck to him to have the rotors changed now and not any Ford service center! I will never buy another Ford again!

Bought new 2014 F150 2wd STX no towing just haul dirt bike a few times - mostly hwy. miles and rotors warped by 25,000 miles . Dealer turned under warranty . Problem back at 43,555 miles . Guess cause is cheap chinese sourced rotors that were under heat treated for low cost . Going to find USA made rotors . Really soured me on Ford trucks as third new one since 1989 and never had this problem except when using cheap aftermarket rotors on my 2000 F-150 after new ones wore out at about 80K miles . I don't drive hard so its really disappointing such poorly made rotors were fitted by Ford as OEM equipment .
