The contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. While driving 2 mph with the brakes engaged, the contact depressed the accelerator pedal simultaneously. As a result, the contact's vehicle crashed into the preceding vehicle. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The contact stated that there was not enough space between the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000. Updated 02/24/15 the consumer stated the dealer advised the vehicle operated as designed. Updated 10/7/2015
