On March 25th and again on the 26th of 2019, the truck went from 40mph to 1st gear causing an abrupt jerk with the truck. In both cases the truck had to pullover to be turned off and turned back on to stop this unintended gear shifting. This vehicle is not safe to drive but is necessary for daily transportation. Ford has issued a safety recall notice 19S07 / NHTSA Recall 19V-075 but still are unable to fix it. According to Ford, they are working on software for this repair. In the meantime there is nothing we can do about this vehicle that can jump from any speed down to 1st gear.
