There is a TSB out for this problem and the dealer states that they found no issue when they had it in for this and two separate drive line issues. It still makes the noise when shifting. The truck is going back in and I will update if the issue is resolved.
I started hearing this weird noise when the truck was shifting gears, almost like a hydraulic pressure build up or release in pressure. I really noticed the issue when it started making a continuous buzzing when shifting into park, and sometimes when just shifting into drive. I took it to the dealer and they drove it and check it out said no engine codes and they couldn't find any issues. Typical answer I was expecting.
I currently have 22k miles and it still does this quite frequently. I don't even bother with the dealer for fear of the same answer as before. I talked to a different dealer and they don't want to even look at it since I didn't buy it there. I assure you I will not be buying another Ford truck and as soon as I can get rid of this one I will.
