So, the truck has been pulling slightly to the left for a long time, I held off on taking it in until it was due for service since it wasn't that major of a pull. The truck had never had any alignment previously and again only has 15K miles on it. The dealer indicated that they could not do an alignment without some sort of add-on kit that cost $450 to install on top of the $90 alignment. Indicated that the camber/caster was too far out of whack and could not be adjusted further using the factory equipment (again it has never had an alignment previously and only has 15K miles) - additionally the vehicle has never hit anything to cause it to become out-of-line. Since it has 15K on it, the dealer indicated that it would not be covered under the 12-12 alignment warranty even though it was out-of-line for quite some time and well before the 12K threshold and we're only 8 months into ownership of the truck, so this was out-of-pocket-$$.
We purchased a new truck to stop having repair expenses, but this Ford F-150 is costing more than a payment on this trip to the dealership.
I have various other complaints regarding brake rotors for this same vehicle at this same mileage that will be entered separately, and the driver's side door handle, molding/seal falling off driver's side door, AC not cool enough on days over 90 degrees, ECOboost V6 not getting the mileage promised and especially not during the winter months.
This is my first AND LAST Ford truck!
