seems like power car washes especially get moisture up about .8 cm into the light against the silicon seal. I could imagine mold and color change over time. I don't like it and sometimes even tape over the edges of the rear taillight when going through a car wash. It is an aesthetic PITA, but all still functions well. I've seen other trucks have foggy lights though...bummer.
I could try aftermarket but I'll wait until they are actually getting ugly. The tuck is 6 years old, the lights 4.5 (replaced due to rear ended) yrs and they are pretty good still.
