Worked for a while after instrument cluster was replace but then while driving down the road the entire dash went out, satellite radio went out and in the dash where speedometer is in big green letters appeared PUT ENGINE IN PARK. I drove immediately to dealer. They replaced shifter, headlight module (twice) and it continued to happen. Next the headlights starting coming on by themselves. They replaced the battery. PUT ENGINE IN PARK came on again. Replaced the BDM Module and now they have replaced the wiring harness.
I picked it up on November 21st and drove it throughout the weekend (so did my wife). It is idling rough, using excessive gas and several times when turning on the ignition it does nothing, but if you put the key back to the off position and retry starting it the car starts. The exterior cargo light stayed on also when locking the truck.
Dropped it back off at dealership on November 23rd.
The dealership has had the truck since Oct. 2nd and today is December 5th. I've filed a complaint with Ford - they aren't calling me back, the Service Manager is not returning calls and I called the General Manager today and he hasn't called me back yet.
This is ridiculous! On Nov. 23rd the truck had 18,045 miles on it. The truck has been in the shop this year over 145 days.
