Two dealerships worked on it , one said nothing wrong. the other said did a update. It still won't work big bucks charged for a navigation device that you can buy at Best Buy for $200 that works better or your Google maps off your phone. If it doesn't work why not install a new one ?
Navigation system in Ford F150 will not work if you change tires from what was originally put on at factory. I spent a lot of extra money to get the navigation system with large dash display. I elected to change tires after approx. 29,000 miles from the factory Pirelli Scorpion 275/45/22" tires, which wore out. I drive in and out of construction sites with mud, rain, and snow so I needed a more aggressive tire. NOT MUCH AVAILABLE in 22" so I had quoted two tires and I elected to go 30545/22" Nitto Terra Grappler.
NOW NAVIGATION is OFF and FORD SAYS THAT IT CANNOT BE FIXED. They claim the Navigation system works with satellite and tire rotation. WHY?? No good answer given! I can buy a cheap $100.00 dash mount one and it works fine so why do they work with tire rotation? FORD HAS NO ANSWER but dealership changes factory tires all the time so I'm not the only one. Even the local Ford dealership quoted these tires for me. Had it in service three times before dealer contacted Ford direct and they told them no fix available. I spent $ 1,280 for these four tires and so you should go back to stock? Yeah right!!
