The engine continues to run after the ignition switch is off and the key is removed. The engine will continue to run anywhere from a minute to upwards of 10 minutes after the key is removed from the ignition; after which the engine will finally shut down... Clearly this is not a good thing at all. Heres a bit more background on the issue: -This problem began over the weekend has since been happening intermittently. -There is not an auto start feature installed on the vehicle. -There has not been any aftermarket electrical work performed. -The controls on the steering wheel for the radio have never worked properly. ie. the volume button would sometimes control the seek and vice versa. Of course the dealer said they couldn't locate a problem whenever i took it in.... I understand that should be reported as a separate issue but figured that might be relevant to this problem and worth mentioning given its an electrical issue with the same vehicle...
