This generation of Ford SYNC (with the 4.3" LCD, non touch) is probably the worst infotainment system I have ever used in my entire life. If the Bluetooth disconnects due to an error, the system will internally lock up and will no longer respond to voice commands, saying "Sorry, I didn't get that, blah blah dur dur" no matter what you say. Also, no bluetooth devices will reconnect until you reboot the system. Therein lies the biggest problem, being that the SYNC system only goes into hibernation mode when the truck is turned off, so the only way to reboot the SYNC module is to climb under the passenger footwell and disconnect the SYNC module's fuse or disconnect the truck's battery for 5 minutes. All this JUST to get your phone paired again. Bravo, Ford & Microsoft....bravo.
