The dealer thought it was an electrical problem but did not have the parts available for this recall notice, that the master cylinder may become defective. As indicated by the brake light. I was not going to pay for an electrical fault which may turn out to bea fishing expedition so I am waiting for the master cylinder and related parts to come in to the dealer. My brakes have been fine but I hope this brake light will be corrected with the recall repair.
Electrical issues can turn into a "make work program" . If this turns out this way I will just Pull the plug on the light.
Not paying for an electrical fault. Puzzled as to why this would not be covered by my extended warranty.
