Purchased this truck new from Freedom Ford in Lebenon, VA in 2012. Had truck 1 year and battery went dead for no reason. Ford replaced. Next problem engine light would come on and go off after a couple days. Took it to dealer and they ran out 1/4 tank of gas and said it was 1 of 2 problems but couldn't replace none because not sure if it was sensor or connection. I seen hood up on truck and don't know what was done but truck ran worse and had loss of gas mileage and shifted hard after I got it back. Light continues to go off and back on. Took truck back after driving it for a couple off weeks. I was told that inter cooler was to big for that model and they bent the flaps down to keep water out and had to replace cat convertor, which I looked at in their lot before leaving and if replaced it was not new. Still engine light going on and off no problems with loss of power truck runs fine just engine light and poor gas mileage.. I only put 93 octane gas in truck and nothing else.
Later on my way home truck down shifted so hard that it scooted the back tires. Took truck to another dealer and they replaced a connector on wiring harness and turbo sensor. Truck still has vibration under gas pedal that is noticeable by me because I drive it everyday I was told it would get better after the last repair was done, but it hasn't. That is why I wrote this because warranty is up in 11months or 15.000 miles. and I know it will not be fixed.
THIS MAKES THE 4th NEW PURCHASE FROM FORD I HOPE THAT IT NOT THE LAST ITS UP TO YOU FORD TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. THANKS
