i HAD TO RETURN VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE TO GET THE REPAIR FIXED RIGHT. THE DEALERSHIP PUT A BANDAID ON TRUCK THE FIRST TIME, THEN I HAD TO RETURN FOR HOSE AND BRACKET REPLACEMENT.
Couldn't find a leak anywhere but always left a puddle, had to add water/coolant every two days or engine temp would get too hot. Finally found leak after driving and the engine still running, there was a small spray of coolant from the hose. Never expected that was where it was from. Tried to order the part but isn't available for a week. Apparently a big problem.
check antifreeze quite often, add some if needed. cost an arm & a leg to take to dealership. have personally bought parts to replace, have made appointments to have it fixed-but life has made me cancel some & money !!
Apparently this is a widespread problem because there is a national back order on the fitting and the upper hose is unavailable everywhere. So expensive because of the stupid fittings and clips on the hose. Fitting is plastic as well as the ends of the hose. $60 for a Damon radiator hose!!!!! Ford should do something about this!!!! My truck has been parked since first of February...ridiculous....
