While I was driving down a residential street, a lateral crack developed 2/3 of the way across the windshield from the passenger side about 4-6 inches from the top. Nothing hit the windshield. My guess is flex in the frame from going over potholes? But that is really inexcusable since I drive my car over the same roads and have never had a windshield crack.
