It felt like something was dragging and there was a burning smell when driving. The passenger front wheel would completely lock up and leave skid marks at low speeds. We thought it was a frozen brake caliper but when the mechanic got it on the lift, the brakes were fine but he found the front coil spring had completely snapped and collapsed. It was a pain to get the bolts off to drop the lower suspension arm and pull out the broken ends. It took several air guns, sledge hammers, and 8 ft breaker bar.
