F-150 Engine raced when BRAKES were applied. I hit brakes hard but rear tires spun, seemed like for 40 sec. out on dry pavement. Stopped inches from vehicle ahead of me stopped at the stoplight. I put it in park then stopped. Took the F-150 to a Ford dealer next day. In the garage 1/2 day but said no codes came up. Noted I didn't have Official Ford mats. (Yeah, maybe that would stop the engine racing & stop the truck on time. Had the same mats in the truck since I bought it in 2011 and even in the truck before this Ford.) The Dealership service just charged me $114 for the visit. Hope there is no injuries or deaths next time this experience happens.
