Have had several occasions when trying to accelerate, passing a vehicle, merging into traffic, or just wet roads and sometimes dry roads, when our truck will decelerate and start shaking as we loose speed. We just experienced it again the other day and will be taking it back to the dealership to have it checked again.We have had it into the dealership for this problem in the past and they couldn't see anything wrong.The message center shows: service Advance Trac.

As I was watching the local news yesterday they had a newscast about Ford F150 trucks with Eco Boost having problems, which Ford Motor Co is aware of, and know what the problem is but hasn't issued a recall yet. I also saw an article of two law suits against Ford Motor Co and the one law suit is regarding this truck and the same problem. So we'll see. We do love this truck but have to get the problem fixed if we plan on keeping it. It's not good when my wife is by herself on the freeway and has to pull off a/c of the truck shaking and decelerating.

I just returned from Ford service talking to one othe mechanics regarding a vibration problem on my Ford F150 with an ecoboost engine - unfortunately he tells me the vibration in idle is the normal result of the turbo when it decelerates - very disappointed to hear that Ford produced an engine which was supposed to be the latest technology that works much worse than their regular engines.

You would think technological advances would become available only to enhance driving conditions and not make them worse. By the way I used to drive a Volkswagen Passat with a turbo engine that never had any vibration problems -
