With every wash of my truck more black paint comes off my front grill. The rest of the front grill is fine. Tom Olson of Ford of Kirkland , Kirkland WA claims it is due to sand but no damage to any other part of, the front end. Also if it was damage from one of the many sand storms we get in Seattle (we never have any) why is the paint coming off more and more with every wash.
According to Ford of Kirkland the Ford warranty does not cover any paint issues.
There are no pits in the surface just paint falling off.
I purchased the f-150 limited (listed at $50,000.00) about 10 months ago through the Costco vehicle purchase program and will file a complaint to them as well.
