I have some odd issues with the sync system in my truck. My Sync system has failed several times over the course of the 9 months I have owned my truck. When I say failed, it does nothing. Won't respond to pushing the button on the steering wheel. When I push the phone button on the dash it asks me to turn Bluetooth on... I select yes and then push the ok button and it goes right back to asking me to turn it on.....
I had the dealer look at it several months ago and they determined my software was the problem so they installed an "Update". It made no difference.
My Ford dealer can't figure it out and now just makes excuses trying to get out of looking at it.
When it works, it works great but the problem is, 50% of the time. It doesn't work.
Update from Aug 12, 2012: I sent an email to Bartow Ford service manager but I got no reply. Bartow Ford has permanently lost a customer for life.
