The signal-light control has always been a pain in the rear due to the way it works. But the last few weeks it has stopped working at all about 50% of the time. I will signal a turn (right or left, makes no difference) and the signal will either come on for a couple seconds and stop on its own or it will not come on at all, no matter how far I move the switch in the appropriate direction. Other times the signal will come on, but will not go off until I push the switch in the opposite direction... usually just enough to cause it to start signaling in the opposite direction again.
The problem with my truck is that the wiper motor, turn signals and the low beams don't work which creates a problem in my not doing any long distance travel. Ford dealership in Holbrook, AZ just recommended looking up recalls regarding the "multi-function switch" on the steering wheel. So far haven't seen anything referencing the "multi-function switch". A check of all the fuses in the engine compartment and the fuse box under the right side instrument panel has tested " no blown fuses".
