I purchase the 2010 Ford F150 used. It had very few miles on it (24000) when I bought it in February 2020. It had been a plant truck and was a little rough but cleanable. From the start however the gas gauge has not worked. I put a new gas pump and sending unit in it and it still won't work. I notice a number of people on the net with this problem but no one posts a repair for it. Does anyone know what could be causing this gauge not to work properly?
After replacing the fuel pump and sending unit I re-initialized the gauge. It went through the process so its not frozen. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong and how I might fix it?
