ford did take the box off and replace the drivers side post and replace the tailgate bushings for the second time, now it still bounces more on the side of the truck and its just a matter of time til the tailgate bushings go out again. I told them right from the start i need a new box and tailgate. But do you think they listen. It took them 3 weeks to take apart the box and replace the post and the problem is still there. i have always owned fords but this is ridiculous. When i am driving and look in my rear view mirror i can see the drivers side by the tailgate just bouncing away. But because the tailgate bushings have not broke again they claim its normal now.
